Our story
CoReorient’s founders witnessed the massive opportunities of helping global consumers adopt more sustainable lifestyles while working at Nokia in the 2000s, but also recognized the structural challenges and tendency of bureaucracies to focus on yesterday’s solutions despite their inefficiencies or costs.
Through personal engagement in grass-roots sharing communities and developing CoReorient’s services in close touch with the end users, we have identified a gap between the Nordic preference for social responsibility and the investor-driven sharing economy services that drive end users to thinking of sharing primarily as a commercial activity rather than a traditional part of the local community.
We are filling this gap through our solutions that have a low threshold of adoption, build communities with fair participation and sharing across different user groups, and also improve everyday life and social well-being.
